To the Mayans Hunab Ku represents the birth place of our galaxy and solar system and when the Earth aligns with this area of the sky massive shifts in consciousness, or evolutionary leaps, occur.
The sophisticated Mayan cosmologists left us massive evidence of the importance of Galactic Center in their calendric tracking devices. They knew there was a black hole at the heart of our Galaxy and they referred to it as ‘Hunab Ku’ or ‘The Sole God’, the creator of the Universe, the Galactic Butterfly and a gateway to other galaxies beyond our Sun.
It has only been since the 1950’s that astronomers have confirmed there is a super colossal black hole at the center of our spiral Galaxy where stars die and disappear into the black hole at the same time new stars are being born.
